SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco Glens announced today that Diego Grande has re-signed with the club for the 2023 USL League Two season, pending league approval.

The winger and SF Glens Academy product is looking to build on last season when he was second on the team with eight goals to go along with two assists. 

“I’m super excited to pick up where we left off last year,” said Grande. “I’m excited to be on the field with the boys again. Up the Glens!”

A native of Pacifica, California and graduate of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco, Grande has played the past two seasons at Dominican University in San Rafael, notching three goals and two assists in his last campaign.

“What a fun player to coach,” said Glens head coach Gabe Saucedo. “He’s always ready for training or big games. He’s the type of player you can count on. He had a breakthrough season last year and I’m excited to coach him again.”
