Pre-game party at Park Chalet will give fans opportunity to meet 2019 players and coaches

The San Francisco Glens will play their next preseason game on Friday, April 19 at Beach Chalet against Academy of Art University.

There will be a pre-game party at Park Chalet next door from 6-7:30 p.m., followed by the game, which will kick off at 8 p.m. under the lights.

“With our headquarters and so many members of the Glens’ fan base located in the Sunset, we felt like this game was a great opportunity to celebrate our upcoming second season in the USL League Two,” said team president Mike McNeill. “They’ll be able to enjoy themselves at Park Chalet beforehand and then enjoy a great preview of what’s to come in 2019.”

Several of the 2019 players and coaches will be present at the Park Chalet pre-game party, where the team will also hold raffles for prizes, giveaways, and other memorabilia. Admission to both events is free.

The addition of the San Francisco Glens’ USL League Two team in 2018 to the top of the club’s pyramid is the latest evidence of growth on their path to the professional ranks.
