SF Glens forward named to USL Academy Best XI, All-SF High School teams

SAN FRANCISCO –– San Francisco Glens forward Kevin Estrada has signed a National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Cal State Bakersfield.

The precocious 17-year-old senior at Leadership High School in San Francisco signed with the Glens' First Team in USL League Two in 2019 as a product of the club's 2002/03 Academy NPL team and partner club Bay City FC.

Estrada has built a reputation for raising his performance level to match the stage. In 2019, he was named to the USL Academy Cup Best XI in San Antonio after scoring four goals and notching three assists in three games as the Glens went unbeaten. He was also named to the All-SF High School First Team in 2020.

Estrada is now the 35th player since 2019 to go from the Glens Pathway Pyramid to either play in college, sign a pro contract, or be selected in the MLS SuperDraft. Learn more at sfglens.com/pathway.
