Academy product returns to Senior Team to bolster defense

SAN FRANCISCO (April 22, 2022) — The San Francisco Glens announced Friday that Eric Pearce has signed with the club for the 2022 USL League Two season.

The defender will be entering his second campaign with the Senior Team after graduating from the club's academy in 2019 and working his way up from the Glens' second team in the SFSFL with coach Bill Chu.

After a stint at UCLA, Pearce transferred to play at Cal Poly Pomona. As a native of San Francisco and graduate of Lowell High School, Pearce is looking forward to coming home.

"I'm super excited to be playing for the team that represents my city," Pearce said. "Up the Glens!"

The Glens' USL League Two season commences on May 13th when they host defending Southwest Division champion FC Golden State Force at Skyline College. Visit SFGlens.com for our full schedule and the latest club news.
