SAN FRANCISCO (May 2, 2022) — The San Francisco Glens Soccer Club announced Monday it has entered an English language broadcast partnership with KRON 4 to stream select games on KRON 4’s live streaming app, KRONon, for the 2022 USL League Two season.

The KRONon app will stream at least three games as part of a “SF Glens Game of the Month” series: May 21 vs. Marin FC Legends, June 18 vs. Oakland Roots’ Project 51O and July 10 vs. Fresno Fuego.

“We’re proud to partner with KRON 4 and make our games even more accessible to our fans both here in the Bay Area and outside it through the KRONon app,” said Ryan Maquiñana, the Glens’ director of partnerships.  “With KRON 4’s long-standing commitment to putting a spotlight on the local community, we believe this partnership fits tremendously for both our missions.”

The KRONon app is free and can be found on the iOS and Android mobile platforms, as well as on smart TVs with Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. In addition to Glens’ games, KRONon streams live, local news 24/7, including breaking news, live press conferences, special reports and much more.

In addition, the club is thrilled to welcome back play-by-play announcer Geoff Geissinger along with new addition Kylen Mills to the broadcast team as primary analyst. Glens technical director Jimmy Conrad will join them for the postgame show.

Geissinger has been the voice of the Glens since 2019 and previously hosted “The State of Soccer” radio show on KSMC-FM in Moraga, California. Mills, currently a sports reporter for KRON 4, played college soccer at Lewis University and has vast experience in the booth calling games for the WCC Network among other outlets. Conrad, one of the most decorated players in U.S. Men’s National Team history and a former MLS Defender of the Year, also serves as an analyst for CBS Sports and Paramount Plus.
