The San Francisco Glens triumphed in their debut USL W League match Sunday afternoon, drubbing Academica SC 7-0 at Skyline College to open the season.

Glens forward Nadia Gomes scored the team's first-ever goal in the 5th minute, with midfielder Kaylee Kim (26') and forward Maia Beltran (40') adding goals soon after. Forward Miri O'Donnell then swiftly scored a hat trick in under ten minutes of play (42', 44', 49') to put the game away, and midfielder Jasmine Leshnick finally joined the fun with an 85th minute goal.

San Francisco will have the chance to get a season sweep over Academica on Saturday night in Turlock.
