The San Francisco Glens took their first loss of the USL League Two season against Monterey Bay FC 2 this Sunday evening at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside.
Monterey Bay took the lead in the first half with a goal in the 22nd minute by Francisco Ponce, who headed in a free kick.
The Glens approached the second half with a few changes in the lineup to equalize the score, but the scoreboard remained the same through the final whistle.
San Francisco returns to the pitch on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. for a friendly match against Stanford at the Cardinal's Cagan Stadium before their next home league game against the Davis Legacy at Skyline College on Saturday at 12:30pm.
