The San Francisco Glens reclaimed sole possession of second place in USL League Two NorCal Division with a 4-1 win over Project 510 Sunday afternoon at Skyline College.
Max Chrétien’s first-half brace (11’, 30’), including a penalty, propelled the Glens to a two-goal lead at the break.
Project 510 got one back in the 65th minute, but Nonso Adimabua quickly erased it three minutes later to keep the Glens ahead at a distance. Gabe Bracken Serra finished the job with a 91st-minute score despite San Francisco having just 10 men in the final minutes.
The Glens now head on the road to Davis Legacy on Friday, June 16, at 8 p.m. The two teams played to a tight 1-1 draw the last time they played on May 27 at Skyline College.
