The San Francisco Glens stayed undefeated in USL W League play with a 3-0 win over Oakland Soul Sunday afternoon at Skyline College.
The Glens peppered the goal with 18 first-half shots, but only took a 1-0 lead to the break courtesy of Andrea Kitahata (17’), who tapped in a feed from Nádia Gomes. Yuna McCormack tacked on a goal (57’) early in the second, assisted by Amy Sayer. Thy Tran finished off the scoring by converting a penalty kick in the 80th minute.
Bianca Dominguez held a clean sheet in her second start as the Glens goalkeeper. She turned away both shots she faced, with one effort surely headed for the net without her intervention.
The Glens now head on the road to face Olympic Club Sunday, June 18, at 11:30 a.m. The Glens won 6-1 the last time they played on May 21 at Skyline College.
