Florida-based club hoping to make waves in first season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Today, USL announced that Inter Gainesville KF is set to make its debut in USL League Two in 2024.

The club was formed as Leg-AZ World FC in 2021, as a pathway for Gainesville-based players to gain experience and exposure for collegiate and professional teams. In its short time as a club, Leg-AZ World already boasts multiple professional and collegiate alumni from their club.

“USL League Two’s ‘Path 2 Pro’ philosophy has been a major player identification component for US professional leagues at all levels,” Darnell Bernier, Inter Gainesville KF Head Coach and Director of Player Development, said. “I’m proud our club, Inter Gainesville KF, has brought this platform to the city of Gainesville.”

The club aims to give opportunities to all those that show desire regardless of means or background, and aid players from all walks of life in their personal journeys.

“Growing the league’s presence in Florida continues to pay dividends at the league, club and player level,” Joel Nash, Senior Vice President, Youth and Pre-Professional Properties, said. “Inter Gainesville KF comes to us with a strong identity and a passion for developing talent, and I’m incredibly excited to welcome them to League Two.”

The club’s front of shirt sponsor in its first season will be Florida Probate Law Group.
