Men's and women’s teams open season on the road May 11, May 18, respectively

SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco Glens Soccer Club announced today their USL League Two men's and USL W League women's schedules for the 2024 regular season.

The USL League Two opens their 14-game campaign on Saturday, May 11th, when they travel to Santa Clara to take on league-newcomer Almaden FC, while, a week later, the W League team kicks off their 12-game campaign on Saturday, May 18th, when they travel to Turlock for a matchup against Academica SC.

Coming off a USL W League Western Conference title and a National Semifinal appearance in its first season, the women's team is slated for a schedule that features a pair of San Francisco Derbies with The Olympic Club as well as matchups with Western Conference runner-up California Storm. League mainstays Pleasanton Rage, Marin FC Siren and Stockton Cargo round out the docket.

Meanwhile, the League Two team is coming off two-straight seasons with Western Conference Semifinal appearances. The Glens put together a winning regular season that included two wins over crosstown rivals SF City in the San Francisco Derby and a passage to the postseason. In the postseason, the Glens traveled down south to Redlands and left with a resounding 2-1 road win over top-seeded Redlands FC in the Western Conference Quarterfinal before ultimately falling in the Western Conference Semifinal to host Ventura County Fusion. The men's team now aims for a Western Conference Final appearance in 2024.

This season's schedule will give fans two SF Derby, with a home-and-home series. The Glens will host first on Sunday, June 16th, followed by SF City's turn on Saturday, July 14th at Kezar Stadium, which will be the Glens’ final game of the regular season. The Green and White will also host newcomers Almaden FC and face other mainstays in the new NorCal Division, Monterey Bay FC III, Davis Legacy SC, Academica SC and Marin FC Legends.

There will be three opportunities to watch the League Two and W League teams back-to-back at home in doubleheaders: June 2nd, June 16th and June 23rd. Both schedules in detail are now live on sfglens.com.

Ticket information will become available in the upcoming days.
