San Francisco Glens, Guinness Announce Multi-Year Front-of-Kit Partnership

Invite-only S.F. launch party, kits to be revealed later this month

San Francisco (March 11, 2024) - In one of the most significant partnerships in the club’s history, the San Francisco Glens Soccer Club today announced a multi-year front-of-kit partnership with Guinness, an iconic brand and world-leading stout established in 1759. 

The Guinness logo will appear prominently on the front of the Glens’ USL League Two and USL W League primary and secondary jerseys as well as training tops for all regular season and postseason matches starting in 2024.

In addition to the front-of-kit partnership, Guinness and the Glens, who are the largest and most diverse club in The City, will build community events that shine a light on celebrating and growing soccer in all its forms. 

“We’re thankful that Guinness has chosen to partner with our club, as we feel there is no better partner and time to embark on this special, multi-year strategic partnership,” said SF Glens Executive Director Mike McNeill. “With the Bay Area hosting the upcoming 2024 Copa América and 2026 World Cup and our Treasure Island facility set to inaugurate this year, we understand that this is a pivotal time for our club and for the sport in our community.

“We have a great opportunity to realize exponential growth in the coming years, and with the global impact of Guinness and considering the unique moment we’re in, we’re certain this partnership will be a huge success for both parties.” 

Guinness will also help the SF Glens raise visibility for memorable moments involving their USL W League and USL League Two teams through branded and innovative digital content, helping to bring local fans together while enabling them to express and share their love for the game to the fullest.

The full SF Glens kit lineup for the 2024 season, proudly featuring the Guinness logo, will be revealed and go on sale on later this month. An in-person invite-only partnership launch party will take place at Johnny Foley’s Irish House on Thursday, March 14, bringing together the Glens and Guinness families.

Fans of local drinking age can also look forward to future collaborative projects between the Glens and Guinness that will allow them to get involved in the community. 


With over 90 total teams and 1,100 youth and adult players, the San Francisco Glens are the largest and most diverse soccer club in The City. Founded in 1961, the Glens have established minor-league men’s team in USL League Two, a women’s team in the USL W League, and a comprehensive youth academy that includes a full pathway in MLS NEXT, the top youth league in America, right down to local micro soccer programs serving kids as young as Pre-K.

In 2022, the club started the construction of a soccer-specific facility at Treasure Island with a targeted completion date by mid-2024. As a community-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Glens are proud to have never turned away a single player or family due to financial hardship thanks to internal fundraising efforts and a scholarship program that distributed over $280,000 last year alone.
