San Francisco (April 3, 2024) - The San Francisco Glens announced today that Diego Grande has re-signed with the club for the 2024 USL League Two season, pending league approval.

The winger and SF Glens Academy product is looking to build on his 2023 PacWest Player of the Year season at Dominican University.

“I’m excited to be with the team again this summer,” said Grande. “Let’s see what we can do. Up the Glens!”

A native of Pacifica, California and a graduate of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco, Grande has played the past three seasons at Dominican University in San Rafael, scoring 13 goals and one assist in his award-winning 2023 campaign.

Since 2022, Grande has noted eight goals and three assists with the Glens.

“It is great to have Diego return to us this summer,” said Glens head coach Liam Guest. “Diego is a pleasure to be around on and off the field. He is the type of player who brings a lot of energy, a high work rate, and a desire to win at all costs. He is a valuable member of our squad and we are delighted to have him return this season!”

The San Francisco Glens are kicking off the 2024 USL League Two campaign on the road on Saturday, May 11 vs. Almaden FC in San Jose.
