Gabriel Bracken Serra re-signs with SF Glens for 2024 USL League Two season

Midfield maestro adds versatility to San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (April 25, 2024)  —  The San Francisco Glens Soccer Club announced today that Gabriel Bracken Serra has re-signed with the club for the 2024 USL League Two season, pending league approval. 

​​A Berkeley native who currently attends the University of San Francisco, the midfielder earned two Player of the Game mentions last USL League Two season, providing goals and assists in a campaign that saw the Glens advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.

“I’m excited to be back playing with the Glens this summer,” said Bracken Serra. “Up the Glens!”

Bracken Serra is coming off his third season at USF, which was capped off with All-WCC First Team honors after tallying six goals and five assists. 

The midfielder was one of five players to play all of USF’s 17 games last season and was also named the WCC Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions. 

“Gabe returns after an outstanding fall season at USF,” said Glens head coach Liam Guest. “He is a pivotal part of our midfield and has the ability to make players around him better. We are very excited to work with him again this season.”

The San Francisco Glens are kicking off the 2024 USL League Two campaign on the road on Saturday, May 11 vs. Almaden FC. Tickets will go on sale soon.
