Jimenez Flamenco Commits to SF State University After Six Years in the Glens Academy.

The Glens are excited to take the next few weeks to celebrate our players who are taking a big step forward in their careers by moving on to play collegiate soccer. Today, we’re proud to highlight Ethan Jimenez Flamenco, who will be playing for San Francisco State University in the upcoming season!

Ethan began his journey with the Glens in 2019 as a Center Back, but as a U19 player, he transitioned to the Wing. During his six years with the Glens, Ethan describes this positional switch as one of the toughest challenges he’s faced. Despite the challenge, he successfully adapted and became his team's second-top goal scorer with 10 goals.

Ethan shares, "My goal is to become a professional soccer player. I want to achieve this dream so that I can inspire kids in my neighborhood and city to aim high and live the life they dream about."
