San Francisco (April 9, 2025) — San Francisco Glens Soccer Club has officially confirmed their backroom coaching staff, who will be working alongside Head Coach Javier Ayala-Hil for the 2025 USL League Two season.
Returning to the technical staff for another season are Alberto Millán and Gabe Saucedo, who played integral roles in the team’s success last year. Millán, a USSF B and UEFA A licensed coach, brings extensive coaching experience from top academies including Real Salt Lake and Phoenix Rising. Saucedo, who had a successful stint as head coach in 2024, will now serve as an assistant coach under Ayala-Hil, contributing to both tactical and player development.
The coaching staff will also include Ruben Escobar, a USSF C licensed coach and Glens Academy staff member, who will support the team with his deep knowledge of player development and game strategy. Additionally, Jesus “Chuy” Rangel, a goalkeeper coach with Bay Area Goalkeeping, will join as goalkeeper coach, bringing his experience to help the Glens' keepers reach their potential.
The Glens are set to kick off their 2025 campaign on May 14th when they will travel to Sacramento to play against Davis Legacy, followed by the home opener at Treasure Island against Monterey Bay FC II on May 17th.
