San Francisco, CA (April 23, 2025) – The San Francisco Glens are proud to welcome Jeff Wilson as Head Coach in our Girls Academy program. With decades of experience at the collegiate, high school, and youth levels, Wilson brings a proven track record of developing players and building successful programs.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jeff Wilson back to the Glens family,” said Executive Director Mike McNeill. “His coaching pedigree, leadership, and dedication to developing student-athletes align perfectly with the mission of our Girls Academy. Jeff’s ability to inspire excellence on and off the field, along with his deep roots in San Francisco soccer, makes him a tremendous asset as we continue to expand and strengthen our girls’ program.”

Wilson has served as Head Coach of the City College of San Francisco (CCSF) women’s soccer team since 2016, guiding the program to four Coast Conference League titles and eight consecutive CCCAA playoff appearances, including a Final Four run in 2024. His tenure includes over 40 player transfers to the next level, seven All-Americans, and a #4 national ranking to close the 2024 season. He has been named Coast Conference Coach of the Year four times.

A San Francisco State University alumnus and former player, Wilson’s coaching journey began in 1994 and includes impactful stops at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, where he led both boys’ and girls’ teams to CCS tournaments and secured four section titles. With 151 victories, he remains the winningest coach in program history.

Wilson also brings extensive youth coaching experience with San Francisco Elite Academy and the Olympic Development Program, where he led the 2004 Cal North ODP Girls’ team to a Regional Championship Title in 2020.

He holds a USSF A License, National Youth License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, KNVB International Coaching Certificate, La Liga Formation Methodology Certificates (Levels 2 & 3), and a Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration.
