San Francisco Glens Announce 2025 USL W League Coaching Staff
San Francisco, CA (April 30, 2025) — The San Francisco Glens have officially finalized their coaching staff for the 2025 USL W League season, bringing together a strong group of five assistant coaches to support Head Coach Heath Piper as the team looks to build on a successful 2024 campaign.
Returning to the sidelines are three key members of last year’s staff: Jessica Hewins, Director of Coaching for the Glens Girls Academy; Yvan Trevino, Head Coach and Technical Director at Bay Area Surf; and Carlos Menjivar, ECNL Girls Director and coach at Bay Area Surf. Their leadership and tactical insight helped guide the Glens to a third-place finish in 2024.
New additions to the coaching roster include Brandon Peña and Luis Perdomo. Peña brings collegiate and club-level experience from NorCal Rush Soccer and the men’s program at St. Francis University. Perdomo, a former professional player from Honduras, has earned multiple call-ups to both the Honduran U23 and senior national teams. He currently coaches with Bay Area Surf and is expected to bring a wealth of international knowledge and professional experience to the Glens' setup.
With the coaching staff in place, the Glens are focused on building momentum ahead of their season opener on May 7 against Marin FC Siren. Tickets available at sfglens.com/shop.
